Hello,
Last night i received an update from android and this update seems like a night mare dream. Updated the software of Samsung galaxy s4 and next morning there is the error on screen showing "The process android.process.acore has stopped " It doesn't let me do any thing, if i press OK it disappears for 3 sec's and then pops up again. If any body could help me with this issue that would be highly appreciated.
thanks
regards
jaree

Better install 'smart tutor' in your phone and call Samsung Customer Care Centre. They will get into your phone meaning they will operate your phone through smart tutor and solve the problem at once :)

My galaxy 4s keeps getting this message: Processandroid.process.acore has stopped. I was able to restart my phone but the message is still there. What do I do?????? Help Please.

How do we do that? We can only work about one second at a time before the message pops back up.

try clearing data for the contacts app and contacts storage.

sorry missed your reply. I hope by now it was fixed. if not, under settings go into apps and find each entry. Click on them and clear data.

If you reboot the problem might reoccur . If it does make sure anything to do with contacts or contacts storage is not frozen (disabled) or deleted. I eventually had to do a factory reset. I stupidity deleted stock contacts folder after I installed 3rd party app. One of my mistakes from having the power of root. LOL.

Verizon gs4 rooted and still learning

OK, but how do I get in past that dialog window? I reboot (including hard reboot {or shutting it down, waiting & then restarting}), but the dialog window saying "Unfortunately, the process android.process.core has stopped." comes up right away & I don't know how to get rid of that window so that I can "clear data for the contacts app & contacts storage."

My samsung s4 tried to update yesterday to "lolipop" and now my phone is saying the same. So frustrating. I cleared the contacts storage but it's still popping up, just not as quick. What else can I do?!
