Nope. I was going to attempt a factory reset if it happened again, but it never did.Did you delete anything or change anything in the settings, etc?

verizon s8 with samsungs evo 64gb sd card, no reboots.
If folks are within their 14 day return period, I'm not sure why they're sitting around discussing it in a forum. Return it ASAP and get a replacement or a different phone.
This seems like a bigger problem than what it really is because the s8 sales numbers are way ahead of their competition. So Samsung is being looked at from a bigger microscope. The more phones a manufacturer has in the wild, the more problems will surface. If you look at this as a per capita, then the media is blowing this out of proportion.
What I'm basically saying is this - Every phone has growing pains early in it's life. The pixel, every single iPhone, HTC phones. You name it.
Every phone out there, sooner or later, will result in a reboot. That's just how phones are. None will be perfect by any stretch.
Like usual, Samsung will be sending out a software update to fix the issue. No need to compare this to the note7 debacle in any way, shape or form.
I've done that once already.... I'm on the second phone, still doing it. I'm returning it today after work for a refund
Get a Google plus account and follow all the tech sites. They report on every little thing a few times a day. Especially pocketnow. The only place I have seen this is on a few phone / tech websites including Samsung. Can you include links to mainstream media that is blowing it out of proportion

Mine started the random reboots for the first time after day 8. It is also the first day I inserted a SD card. After 2 or 3 random reboots, I removed the card. It has rebooted twice in the last 2 days with the card removed. What's going on here? I'm going to factory reset . If it does it again, I'm returning.
