Being able to move to any part of the song.
Oh, that would be pretty cool. I never saw it in action, so didn't know what I was missing.

Yeah it's one of those little things that I've gotten accustomed to and love since being back on iOS.
I used to song scrub, but now that I think about it I haven't really done it that much at all. Since you brought it up on this thread I can't remember the last time I attempted to. Maybe it's because I just stream music, and when I don't like something I just skip it. Also it's hard to do that when your running.

Poweramp does everything you want. Full controls. Scrubbing. Album art. It does so via putting a separate lockscreen on top of (or replacing) the android one, but you have full everything without needing to unlock the phone. The Pro version unlock is 4 dollars. Well worth it. I reinstalled it to double check it works with MM on my 6P and it does, like a champ.
Ok cool but does it work with Imprint? I want to be able to have that enabled as well.
You're gonna make me reinstall it again, aren't you...![]()
Okay, the answer is - not exactly. It's a two step process.
There's a small button on the Poweramp lock screen that says 'to lockscreen' that needs to be pressed. If the screen is off, the phone will 'unlock', bringing up Poweramp's screen which then needs a press on 'to lockscreen', and then goes to your home screen (because the phone is actually unlocked at that point - imprint gives you the one buzz and turns the screen on). If the screen is on and you're looking at Poweramp's controls, you need to press that button first to bring up android's lockscreen, then the imprint will unlock as normal.
It seems you can either forgo full controls by just having the simplified stuff on the stock lockscreen, or go with Poweramp's method but requiring an extra step if you're playing music. There's no single solution like iOS has.
Ugh that's annoying.
I think part of the reason is that iPhone was marketed *as* a music player (with everything else), while Android *has* a music player. Subtle, but ultimately, huge distinction.
BT BT BT
Worst on any phone i have ever had. This is what i observed. when i first got it my earpiece would not stay connected at all. thought mine was bad so got a new one. same issue. getting it to connect to my BT Fm transmitter in car was spotty. My external speaker in garage would disconnect as soon as music starts playing. Found Blue tooth auto connect in play store which helped a lot but still have issues. the biggest thing I found that is when lets say I turn on my stereo ear buds it never auto connects. when i go into settings > BT i find that my phone is constantly trying to connect to devices that are not currently turned on. And the one i want to connect to i can tap on it all day but nothing will happen while it is cycling through my other devices which are off. I have 4 setup. I have even had it cross up two of my devices so that when i turn on device one it connects to device 2 and that designation works as if it were device one??? Just last week as i was struggling to get my stereo head set to connect i turned off BT and back on and all my devices were gone. next issue. If my phone is in a pocket anywhere on my body or even in a pocket in my shirt there is constant static and glitching when playing music to my stereo head set. Saw a guy on you tube replicate this exact same issue. Call quality complaints from people i'm talking to. gmail notifications still do not work for me. Enable voicemail via google to replace vzw visual. they delays on getting voicemils and or email notifications can be hours. I have seen others post the same issue. You know i decided to get a bloat free pure edition thinking this shoud be the best of the best.now i am not naive and i know there will always be some small glitches. My s5 was not perfect but i will say that the three major issue I am having now were not an issue on my s5. So the question is take a phone with bloatware and several versions behind because they have to test every single thing to make sure it works with their launcher or go with a pure phone that has an OS that keeps security up to date and have what you would think is a relatively stable operating system? I feel like 6.01 is like windows 98SE or vista lol. Really Google. this is the best you can do with your own OS. pathetic. Oh yeah and one last thing. when I transferred all my photos over they were all out of order. could not figure out what was going on. Then i found out from a post that the SD space for me separate from what is dedicated to the OS is presented as a virtual SD card and as such when i copied all my photos over the dates on everyone of them was changed to the date I coped them. So now everything is out of order. I have NEVER had this happen before on any of the 7 previous android phones i have had where I copied everything over to my new phone via my PC. REALLY Google. You thought this was a good idea. WOW. So this I must say has got to be one of the worst implementations for me of an Android OS ever. whew. long rant.
<snip> long rant.
First, paragraphs really do help make things readable.
Second, your issues with Bluetooth seem to be the exception, and a fairly rare one. I haven't had any issues with Bluetooth at all. You should definitely get a replacement, as the phone should be under warranty.

Yep. I can't screenshot the lock screen so I took a picture with the girlfriends phones. I have GPM playing there and as you can see the controls are there and the album art is in the background.
