The waiting for the Charge thread

If the battery life is anywhere as near as bad as the TB, then I'm going to have to re-evaluate my choices. I don't mind a slighlty extended battery (like Verizon's battery for the Moto X), but I'm not fan of carrying around a spare battery and less of a fan of those super large extended batteries like Verizon sells for the HTC. I also hope Samsung doesn't make the same mistake HTC did and provides a way to turn LTE on and off. I'm all over this phone when it comes out and have been waiting since I first read specs on it, but I'm all about usability and having enough juice to carry me through the day.

Ya I got that but when anything is free....I would suck it up...maybe just me i guess
lol i will take a free battery but i could see where that would not be a selling point. Its a great gimme dont get me wrong, but maybe not strong enough a deal to say i'll take this over that
So im thinking of getting a thunderbolt for a couple days to have a phone, maybe make a tutorial or two, and then exchange it for the Charge when it arrives

hehe, sounds like a good idea...just hope the charge comes within the 14 day exchange period. You know how these release dates are not set in stone.
Can someone buy a phone, and keep exchanging before the 14 day thing and keep just doing that for like 5 phones? Know what I mean?
They must have a limit?
Well, if they do throw in a free battery, I'll gladly give you mine. Seeing we're both in OB it will be an easy giveaway.
I got the TB for a few days to see if I could live with it. I'm a fan of the form factor and of sense from back when I had an EVO for almost a month to test Sprint in the area. But having to walk around with a car battery just to ensure I had a power source was a deal breaker for me. Damn nice phone, though...

I'm completely stuck between the Charge, which I've been waiting for since the announcement, or trying to hold out for the Galaxy S2 which seems to be twice as nice. Anybody else having this problem??

Just googled it and uhhh I don't really like the looks...the corners too sharp..and the mouthpiece looks like a gaping hole. lol
And some ppl really HATE the looks of the charge. go figger
Also the few websites I went to make no mention of 4g...I would think they would if it had it. This is the main reason for me switching.
But it does have dual core so thats good..

I appreciate both looks in their own way I suppose. SG2 does kinda have an iPhone look goin for it though and if you're not into that, then it could be a deal breaker. SG2 is also suppose to be the thinnest smartphone ever. It's not 4G which I guess is the selling point of the Charge, but the SG2 has the duel core, and faster processor. AND should come out with Gingerbread whereas the Charge seems to be dropping with Froyo. Don't know what version of TouchWiz each is debuting with
Went to the local VZN store in the city where I work and bought it outright. I knew I was going to get stuck with a restocking fee but I was OK with it. Returned it for a refund.
