Ok so my wife destroyed her Evo the other day getting out of her car, she forgot it was setting on her lap. Sprint uses a 3rd party insurance company, I called the Sprint Store and got the number. The whole process went smooth considering the trauma she was in, LOL. She told them what happened and they emailed a form that she filled out and faxed back. They called her back within 12 hours and said that her new phone was on the way and that once she received it, she had 10 days to send the damaged phone back to them. They then notified her that she only had to send the phone, and that she could KEEP THE BATTERY AND ANY CABLES THAT CAME WITH THE BROKEN EVO. So there is NO NEED to lie and tell the insurance company that it fell in the lake. If you claim on your phone, you can keep all your cables and your battery. The replacement fee for the EVO was 100.00 which she paid over the phone. So basically she paid 100 dollars for an OAM cable and battery. Anyways just wanted to share the experience for all those that may have to claim on there EVO. Also the sprint store said that
they have seen several broken screens already
Also just wanted to say that I LOVE THE EVO AND I HAVE NO BATTERY PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER!
