they have 5 days left until the 17th, to have everything on track means they must have already shipped the units since that could take a day or two.

so, either monday or tuesday an announcement, going on sale Wednesday online and on sale Thursday in stores?

or completely different since they mentioned the "dates" in the tweet.

Hopefully BestBuy doesn't get it before Verizon and that they are referring to online before in-store.

Yeah that's what's I was going to say, if its still on track for 17th, then I wouldn't see a whole lot changing in the next day or two. Which like you said they would have had to ship them today or tomorrow so stores would have them Monday or Tuesday.

Bennnnn I would like to say thank you for all your info I too will go to bed now. I really hope this phone comes out on the 17th because i need to return my Incredible. The Incredible is nice but my wife is 13 weeks pregnant and i want to make sure I am there for Doc visits even if I am not there in person.

There's thoughts that the Incredible 2 won't be LTE. For me, LTE has to be there.

Meh I'm not to thrilled about it. Smaller screen, no LTE, no kickstand, less memory. Thunderbolt is the flagship device here.

That movie looked like it should have been called "Independence Day." I had a dream when I was 14 years old about a movie where Aliens try to colonize the Earth and we fight them off, and in was called Independence Day, but in my dream it came out on Independence Day. 1. i drive a green station wagon that i call "the turtle", it is not the fastest car.

You know, now that people have brought up the other phones, I'm starting to think all of the LTE phones are going to be completely new devices and all of the other other devices will simply be refreshes. I mean that's what the X2 is going to be and that appears to be what the Incredible 2 will be.

thats what i was kinda thinkin, just wanted to be sure that i wasnt alone... i wanna make sure that this (the tbolt) is the "the one". especially because i will be buying 2, one for me and one for my hubby. so if it really is about $300, we will be spending $600... i also hope that its not too expensive for the data plans, and yes, i know we will just have to wait and see but if the incredible s is coming to verizon and its pretty similar to the tbolt and is 3g and is cheaper, data & price, i may just have to go for it this time around but i guess ill just have to wait it out and see what happens. also- ive been waiting for this phone for a while now, and the DincS isnt even close to coming out, so i dont think i can wait any longer for a new phone

Believe me I've contemplated on waiting for the Dinc2, but I'm in love with the way this phone looks. The thunderbolt is one slick device. I've waited too long with my laggy moto droid 2 to not upgrade to an HTC device let alone the Thunderbolt

I feel the same way, but with a Storm 1. I really hope we get the $30 unlimited LTE. That would really be the icing on the cake. I'm really excited right now and for the first time, I'm actually believing the release date rumor. I even picked the 17th as the release date on that thread with the release date poll yesterday. I have put little to no faith in the prior rumored release dates. Hopefully I don't get disappointed with this one.
