If the phone itself or the LTE network is so messed up it's cause this delay, then I don't think I want a Thunderbolt...
How exactly are they gonna force you to pay the early termination fee if you have a STRONG reason against there way of business, yeah its in there disclaimer so what.
When i left AT&T they tried to slap a ETF on me, I ignored it for almost a year until they finally gave up, and it didn't affect my credit rating either.
Its BS that they can require your ETF to be that high, I know there was commotion on the interwebz about it when they first changed it to $350, up from $150, even the FCC and DOJ got involved, same as they did with the Phantom data fee.

Not to mention the hardware is already in the phone.
Which should make it easy enough to just put a 3G sim card in the phone then When 4G is read, make the sim cards available for an even swap with the 3G card. Obviously would never happen but a man can wish.
CDMA doesn't use SIM cards so there wouldn't be a "3G" version.
No biggie. I'll grab a DInc for $20 and get whatever HTC LTE phone is good in a year or two.
That will get VZW plenty of time to fix their bizznizz.
this would be a great time for Bennnnnn to come on and give us some updates...
Can you get a 20$ Dinc on a one year?
I will share information I have with you when I can, but for now I must wait.

I'm feeling the same exact way. I'm seriously considering getting an Incredible and wait a year until they fix what issues they have.If the phone itself or the LTE network is so messed up it's causing this delay, then I don't think I want a Thunderbolt or LTE...

At this point I think I'll just hold off for the incredible s
