If the phone itself or the LTE network is so messed up it's causing this delay, then I don't think I want a Thunderbolt or LTE...

We've heard repeatedly that the phone is ready. The delays have to be the LTE network. Not very reassuring for any new LTE devices, if you ask me.

I recall Panda saying something back in Feb. to the effect of 3G/LTE handshake dropping calls being the delay.

How exactly are they gonna force you to pay the early termination fee if you have a STRONG reason against there way of business, yeah its in there disclaimer so what.

When i left AT&T they tried to slap a ETF on me, I ignored it for almost a year until they finally gave up, and it didn't affect my credit rating either.

Its BS that they can require your ETF to be that high, I know there was commotion on the interwebz about it when they first changed it to $350, up from $150, even the FCC and DOJ got involved, same as they did with the Phantom data fee.

Thanks for the heads up. I've always been happy with Verizon until January and now with this.

Not to mention the hardware is already in the phone.

Which should make it easy enough to just put a 3G sim card in the phone then When 4G is read, make the sim cards available for an even swap with the 3G card. Obviously would never happen but a man can wish.

Good call, I think if the report is right that they are looking at quarter 2 for this phone then you may be right Chrisy....

HTC must be in a real pickle...should they delay the announcements of what they have coming up soon...because it could have the impact of less bolts being bought? I wonder how this is playing out with them.

CDMA doesn't use SIM cards so there wouldn't be a "3G" version.

No biggie. I'll grab a DInc for $20 and get whatever HTC LTE phone is good in a year or two.

That will get VZW plenty of time to fix their bizznizz.

I'm feeling the same exact way. I'm seriously considering getting an Incredible and wait a year until they fix what issues they have.

I will share information I have with you when I can, but for now I must wait.

Don't do anything that can jeopardize your job of course, but we do appreciate it when you stop by with a minor update like this one. Thank you, it is really reassuring.

Also, Ben^5 never told us when they would announce the release date. All he said is that the devices are ready to go, so any day they should be launching.

Also, HTC isn't getting pissed; that idea was from Sentrix, who we have proven to be full of it (he took what Ben^5 was saying and then embellished like a madman). HTC probably supports the delays just so their device doesn't get a bad rap because of VZW's network issues.

Bennnnn didn't say there would be an announce today. He guaranteed a release March 17th, stating the phone is ready.
