Hey Bennnnn,
thanks, can you let us know if the $30 unlimited data plan will still be available at release?
Yes, It will be.

Here is the 2/2/2011 tweet:
Thanks Bennnnnn,
You wouldn't happen to know the day that they are scheduling announcing the release date (if any)? This would be the most help of all!
Now, in lighter news, I can now happily confirm that the Thunderbolt is definitely on schedule for March 17th and I do not see any more delays in the future. Best Buy stores should be receiving shipments a day early for pre-orderers, but don't to worry if you didn't; you will definitely be the proud owner of an HTC Thunderbolt in 10 days.

I haven't heard anything yet because we are not focusing on the Thunderbolt this week. Could be this week, but most likely next.
Hey, sorry guys, busy day at work. This iPad has definitely taken priority over a lot of our projects for the week.
I would like to formally address the speculation and verification issues brought forth to me. After a conversation with iamlilysdad, it has been brought to my attention that I had infact "not been verified" by the moderators.
As Cory states,
I apologize to you all for all the confusion, as I was mislead by my assumptions myself, and I hope we can get this thread back on track.
Now, as I told Cory, I am not here looking for fame, honor, or free hand outs. I am simply here to provide my credible information with the general population on these forums who shares a common interest in the subject, and that is all. I stand behind my information one hundred percent, and I hope you all will acknowledge this in the following week leading up to the launch of the HTC Thunderbolt.
As I stated, I will still stand by my source (Director) and will continue to update information as I receive it. I am purely here to help out with what I can and prove what I can, while avoiding the risk of being identified by my employer.
As we know, it's difficult for me to give out information to everyone in this forum, to prove my identity without sacrificing my career, so I had entrusted a select few of you to share my information with, knowing that they would keep it confidential and help other members understand the situation.

I'm rooted, running pete's Gingerbread ROM with a 1ghz kernel. I use LauncherPro and only have three homescreens and a few widgets. I think my Droid is just on its last leg.
I really thought this phone would be out on the 10th. Even if it's the 17th, I wish they would just announce it and start taking preorders... then I'll move on to be obsessed with fedex tracking updates!

Can you define "definitely on schedule"? I'm not trying to be difficult or anything, but you said the 10th was a go last week. What makes your information now any different than last week?

Yes, It will be.
What people don't understand is that as hardware gets upgraded so does the software. Apps today are much more advanced (i.e. Pulse) than apps back when the DROID was first released (i.e. ...NewsRob? Was that even out back then?), yet people keep insisting that "all you need to do is root, flash a custom ROM, and overclock your old piece of crap phone and it is good to go!" It doesn't work that way, it never has worked that way, and it never will work that way because otherwise 3/4 of the world would be out of jobs since people would then just keep their old technology and services for ten years at a time and be a-okay.I'm rooted, running pete's Gingerbread ROM with a 1ghz kernel. dude, pretty sure he defined what he meant in the words immediately following the word "schedule".
