Things you don't like about LGV10? :(

I leave HDR on because I find it takes better pictures noticeably versus auto. If I need to shoot a fast moving object then I'll turn it off.

battery life under MM is terrible now. had 4 hours of screen on time under lollipop no problem, but now i the battery drains fast, with over 50% depletion over night. i dont get it.

There are lots of threads on that - and solutions. Hang in there chances are you can get it resolved.

Have a few more things I've found with my V10 I don't like. This will update if/when I find more things.

-Marshmallow update has the capture+ bar in the second screen with no way to move it back down how it was with Lollipop. Most attributed with how my second screen has noticeable light bleed when looking at the area in dimly lit or dark areas. Otherwise, it's not a bother since I know the bleed varies with each device all the way to nonexistent as a result of the extra backlight.

-LCD inconsistencies. My V10 suddenly had massive light bleed around the top and sides of the main display and I had it replaced with an OEM LCD digitizer with frame assembly from repairsuniverse for $124. That one still has light bleed though only located around the bottom left half and a tiny white blip at the upper half with a little less backlight bleed from the second screen. I could have T-Mobile replace it via insurance but I'd prefer not to have a refurb as my V10 is the first device I've gotten whose manufacture date is less than a month from my purchase date which I consider new: oldest is my M8 which was manufactured 4-5 months from when I got it and I loved that phone until I found out about its infamous camera lens film defect and the possibility the lens is plastic.

-The proximity sensor and ambient light sensor combo has a window which is made of the same glossy plastic used for the LED flash and Laser Autofocus. As a result, scratches are almost a guarantee. Thankfully mine are just hairline and both sensor work perfectly fine but with those who have issues with the screen refusing to turn on or screen going black during a call, the window's got a scratch which is likely interfering with the sensor and tricking it into thinking something is in its way.

I don't see the capture+ in the 2nd screen? What's it with? Light bleed on the second screen is real bad on my phone. I hate it.

Capture+ on my TMO V10 had the header bar with the buttons for drawing, erasing, etc. on the top section of the main display in Lollipop. The marshmallow update had the bar moved to the second screen.

Actually prefer it there. Glad they went with the standard cut tool as well, instead of the free form cut of lollipop.

I purchased 4 of these phones. The calls are constantly dropping. People can't hear me. This is the worst phone I've had. I wish I hadn't allowed the sales clerk to convince me in getting this phone. We all hate it. I can't wait until my contract is up.

Sounds more like a provider problem to me.

x2... 0/4 is not a good ratio. Sounds like its a carrier/signal or carrier compatibility issue.

I live in a very weak Verizon coverage area, and every once in a while have call drops. Roughly ~ 1/25 calls gets dropped. I had this same problem on my iPhone and Sony Xperia previously. My wife has the same success rate on her 6S+.

Every 2-3 years there are local ballot measures to allow cell tower construction, people keep voting it down.

Well... It's a new thing for me to dislike, but I can't record in 60FPS longer than 5min... I USED to be able to (and about a week or two ago at that) but the phone won't let me record videos longer than 5min after I got an update. So that said.... Any help? Or do I need to look into unloading this phone for one that will allow me to film as long as the memory is there?

The always on second screen. It's not that I don't like it, it's that I wish that it was implemented better. Like when your phone is just sitting there, instead of it being always on, have it turn off and only turn on when there is a notification or when you tap it.

You want the Moto X.

I just shot some 60FPS, about 6:15 long video yesterday. I had it on Auto, 16:9, Steady-ON. I had HDR on too (if that really matters for video).

I'm coming from a note 4 edge and I'm loving this phone.
Couple of things tho
1.- Battery is better than previous phone
2.- Speaker sucks
3.- When your phone is with the screen off in a dark room you can see light coming out of the back of the front facing cameras towards the second screen. Not too much where it bothers but enough to notice.
4.- The phone doesn't seem to charge with any of my old chargers/usb cables.
5.- No headphones ????

Other than that I'm loving my phone, I'm not going to give samsung the business if they do not listen to their customers. And to top it off, not only LG is still providing removable battery and sd card, but with their promotion they are giving you one extra, that's awesome.

I didn't get any extra battery promotion..

O-B-1

I know my Note 3 used to do this too, if you had it set to record video on the highest setting. I was wondering if the V10 would do this as well. I want to get a large micro SD card just for shooting video, but I don't want a bunch of 5 minutes clips that I have to string together and it not even have continuity.

I think it solely depends on your sd card. Currently have a 64GB Samsung MicroSDXC UH-1 card and I can record 60fps video in 1080p and 4K in 30fps just fine and as long as memory grants it, same deal for recording to the V10's built in storage.

Sweet, thanks for the update.

Everybody is talking about great things they liked about the V10. We all know how great this phone is but is there anything you don't like about the V10?

How I can't see the screen at all outside with the auto brightness setting
