What the guy at BB told me was that when they submit their order to Samsung, they tally up how many preorders they have and add like 15% to it. So, if they have 100 preorders they'll order 115 to the store. Which mean (hopefully) everyone that preorders one is guaranteed one on launch day.

Has anyone ordered through them in the past and what typically happens? Just don't want it to be Friday and it still on processing to find out it's been delayed. Would rather cancel and take my chances as a walk-in somewhere

I have preorder from Worst Buy, Note 4, S6e, Note5, and S7e. Each time I was able to get it launch day. Except for S7e, which was released a few days earlier.

I'm using the app to check my order status. Bottom right tab or "more" and then order status. My Gear Fit 2 was available for pickup a few hours after I ordered.

Was that directed at me because I preordered in-store? If so, poor attempt at an insult. BB only allows one to get the free sd card if you preorder in the actual store.

Yeah, luckily I was able to get the SD card anyway. I didn't want to deal with an in store order cause they act like they don't know how to do a full retail pre-order.
