Have we seen the price from BB for the XOOM?
as we have heard from our BB ppl BB marks up retail to sell contracts.. It would not surprise me to see the XOOm retail price at BB around 850, 900.

and fyi Retail for the TB from VZW is rumored to be about 650.

no no no. we have heard this 20 times already. even BB is saying the 14th is not going to happen. maybe the 17th at BB but thats a BIG Maybe.

Well, not all BB are saying the 17th or later. At least BB in my area still says 14th.

I would love for the 14th to be true. I saw the Email from BB Corp to the manager at my local BB. It clearly stated that they will not be getting the TB the 14th.
PS---I would love to be wrong tho!!

Nothing I hate more than a store rep who cracks open my box and puts their greasy fingerprints all over my new toy before i do. Drives me insane. I was looking at my Tab today and the reps fingerprints are all over the back. UGH!

VZW will give you free overnight ship if you ask for it.

I'm with you 100%. I'd rather wait a day and get my brand new TB shipped to my home than get it activated and setup in the store.

Of course, on launch day that may change, depending on how desperate I am to get rid of my BB Curve.

I love the unboxing part lol! I hate doing it through the store for that very reason! It takes away form the experience lol. Maybe if you tell the store it is a gift and you do not want to open yet ten you could buy it that day and still get to open it yourself???

OK. I just got today's paper. We don't get papers on Sundays so all the ads are in Saturdays paper. I looked through the entire BB insert, no TB to be found. The front page has the DINC, ATT Inspire 4G and the Sprint HTC Evo. Second page has some other low end devices. CRAP!

Junk Chinese case....very, VERY cheap.
I wanted to have something to put on the phone when I got it until I can research and get a proper home for it.

It will do for now, keep it scratch free...but it is CHEAPO.
I paid 6.95 for it shipped...I didn't expect much.

Just an FYI, there is no Thunderbolt ad in today's Best Buy newspaper flyer in my area. I looked 3X just to be sure I didn't miss it, it's not there.

I think he was referring to this week as in beginning tomorrow. As in, ruling out the 14th.

I was thinking the same thing. Usually stores like CVS and Wal-Greens gets those ads before it's released to the public.

First post here....
I pre-ordered a TB from Best Buy last Tuesday and got a courtesy call this morning (Saturday) from BB saying that the "TB debut was postponed from Monday and we are sorry but we do not have an official release date at this time". Unfortunately I was at my kid's basketball game so I didn't answer the phone...this was left on my voicemail. I so wished I could have talked to the lady and said "it suppose to be released on the 24th at a $249.99 price on a 2-yr contract". I wonder what she would have said?!

So, at least in NC, it's "officially official" that the 14th is not happening. (there was still a shred of hope for Monday).
