I just called BestBuy stores and they told me I can't use New Every Two credit at BestBuy.

So I got no choice but buy it from vz online or store.

That's strange. Maybe its something new but I've used my New Every Two at Bestbuy before. They actually send me emails reminding me when I'm eligible.... something I signed up for.

I would personally go to Verizon for a phone but if for some reason Bestbuy has it first or is taking pre-orders I would have no problem getting it from them. I've pre-ordered a phone from BB before with no problems with it.

i might have read to much into it, but you used as fuel for your side of the conversation. it is not an entirely accurate statement and definitely not a rebuttal to my views. i do enjoy the back and forth here and have fun doing so, but i am going to let this one rest. you feel it is suide to not have in VZW stores, i dont think they care and dont think it will effect anything in the big picture for them.

i hope im wrong, i want ASAP. but i have to have one year, and that is not looking possible from BB.

I am definitely buying it from best buy due to the free buy back promo they are going to have going on for 3 weeks on cell phones... The way it works is you get half of the value back if you return it in the first 6 months (its full retail value to which i believe is $600+) so id get over $300 back, than switch it for the Bionic or Iphone 5 (full retail)

Best Buy on Friday said its Grand Rapids, Mich. store mistakenly posted release date information about the HTC Thunderbolt and the Motorola Xoom on its Facebook page.
"The info from the Grand Rapids store was posted in error, as the details included are not yet finalized," Best Buy said in a statement. "We will share updated and accurate information when we have it."

When asked, Verizon said that Best Buy determines its own product release dates. A Motorola spokeswoman said the company has not announced pricing and availability for the Xoom.

I wish Verizon would stop playing games and just announce what is going on. People that want the iPhone will buy the iPhone. Weather it comes out the sane day a week before or after is not going to change anyone's mind. So come clean. I really do not want to go threw Best Buy. I went threw Walmart for my Droid X and they messed up my account and took like 10 calls for Verizon to fix. Come on Verizon get your stuff together.

while the stock of devices at launch will not be at IPHONE numbers rest easy that there will be plenty of units available to all that want one.. Im not sure of best buy numbers but each verizon store will have dozens of units....

Woops..Sorry bout that. I misinterpreted the wording. I thought he was talking about the eligibility. Not sure about discounts but if you mean Rebates...they do give them to you.

this is true, an it pisses me off because im coming from att with iphone 3g. im getting away an the damn thing followed me lol. but i need a better network with 4g right away. but i think they could have marketed the thunderbolt with commercials by now at least teasing the phone an hyping it up. the iphone needs no hype, it just needed to be announced with a date an people flock. i cant wait to see first week sales of t bolt. they will be a let down im sure. but i guess superbowl ad will blow the roof off an end all speculations. if we dont get an ad. this will be one of the must non market big products ever. it will fail except for die hard fans waiting.

Pushing back Android phones, pushing back LTE launches to beef up 3g... Sprint is looking better and better by the day... Too bad the TBolt is a must have for me. Damn!
