I am going to seriously consider getting the iphone if the T-Bolt really does get pushed back to the 28th... This waiting game is getting quite old. Hopefully the report of it getting pushed back is false. Best Buys free buy back ends the 26th and that is something I was considering using.. Ah well we shall see. I think if they push it back to the 28th they may lose a decent amount of sales to the iphone due to people getting fed up.

Why the Iphone? For me, depending on pricing, it'll be the Incredible, but the Iphone? nay. never.

HTC Thunderbolt for $199 at BestBuy Tomorrow for Pre-order

Just spoke with local Best Buy and they said I can pre-order Thunderbolt tomorrow for $199.99. He expect the phone to be out 2/14 but he said there is a note that says it could change. But you can pre-order for sure.

I asked him about NE2 and he said they can't do that. So I guess I will be waiiting... I can't just let go $100 for nothing

I hope that's true. The leaked photo says $249.99 but since its BB they just might do it for $199. I'm definitely going there tomorrow. Is that NE2 just for the primary line btw? I asked a rep about a family line but they said I couldn't use a NE2 for that.

I went smart when I got my Eris and 1 year contracted it so I don't have a NE2 as well.

Anyone think I'd run into any issues trying to get the phone if I'm not the account owner, though the line is in my name and clearly up for contract?

If you get a nice person, and you know any account passwords that may be on there, they'll do it. Their suppost to have the account owner present, but I've activated a line before w/o the owner being that because the guy really wanted to make a sale.

Well I just talked to my bb and they told me $249 : ( I have a feeling that whoever told you $199 is wrong. There hasn't been anything floating around to support the $199 price.

Was just at a best buy. Didn't bother asking about the Thunderbolt, because I don't see myself getting information thats any different than gained so far.

But I was rathered annoyed by the fact that all of their Android phones weren't actually on, and just had an image of the UI over the screen (except the Nexus S). I wanted to test out the different UIs so I could get a sense of how they all work, but that wasn't possible...

Are there any disadvantages if getting the Tbolt from a vzw authorized dealer? (it's a store that sells only vzw items all employees are self employed independents).

Of course I'll be getting insurance with the phone so if I have a prob could I take it to an official vzw store even if I bought it at an authorized dealer or bestbuy?

Just spoke to the Best Buy in Elyria OH he said it is going on pre-order today but he could not give me a price. He said they will tell him tomorrow. But he seems to think it will be $199. When I asked him to confirm is when he said he will not know till tomorrow. You would think we were asking questions about national security.

I think the $199 is taking into consideration your $50 deposit.

I have a $30 NE2 to use, but I think $250 is too high also.
