$300 is not absurd. Its the same as a 32 GB iPhone 4, and that doesn't have the specs or the LTE that the Bolt has.

The iPhone (Apple in general) is not reasonably priced, so your argument is invalid.

I have a Saxophone to buy next month that I've been keeping money aside for. plus I'm a college student with bills to pay. $250 is already pretty out of my range of what I should be spending, but $300 is over the edge without a doubt.

Flash storage is becoming so cheap it's stupid, and 32GB isn't $100. It's $80 AT MOST if you don't know where to shop; otherwise it's about $50. Also since my contract is almost $250/month to begin with they should be giving me the damn phones for free. Of course because they can get money for them, that will never happen and I accept that.

$300 for ANY phone is ridiculous. You can get a netbook for almost that same price (Probably a lot more storage too, and a bit more RAM) and just Skype with people. I really want this phone, and I'm willing to pay $250. But $300 is taking my limits too far.

And you're missing the point. You're paying for bleeding edge technology, on a flagship device. If you don't want to pay that, fine, wait. But I can guarantee you the other LTE phones aren't going to be that much cheaper. I'm sorry you don't want to pay for it, but it is what it is.

In this case, its Verizon's first 4G, and the first LTE phone in America. Its their flagship device for this new technology.

Kind of the same here. Its just another phone that is 4g capable. I never seen any other carrier charge 300 bucks for their "flagship" device before. The only company who sells their product for 300 bucks is apple and lets be honest here. The IPhone is a piece of art and the thunderbolt is simply plastic. I mean if it was glass and stainless steel I would understand the price but not for a plastic phone. I think I am going to pass on this one or just wait until the price drops here in a few months or just wait for the new Iphone. I can't decide, but I am sick of hearing the flagship thing, everyother carrier has released their 4G phone's and NONE of them have cost 300 bucks!!

Thunderbolt is unibody aluminum construction. So unless my science education has been lying to me, aluminum is a metal, and not plastic.

Well 4G LTE is completely new technology. This is THE flagship device for that technology, not just Verizon. Not that I agree with the price. But based on what you're saying, I can't defend you.

I'm not gonna even get into what you said about the iPhone/Bolt comparison, but it made me want to rip my hair out for how ridiculous it was...

Not much compares to the iPhone when it comes to craftsmanship. If you're not getting the iPhone, however, HTC is the best of the best, especially on their flagship devices.
