I've had some random reboots. Once while I was on the phone! That sucked. Not rooted, version 0002. I hope an update comes soon to fix some of the issues.

I have not had those problems at all, I have an aftermarket battery that might be the difference between my experince and your guys. This could explain why some people have had horrible battery life.
To everyone who reported do you have good/decent/less than avg/poor battery life?
This could mean you might have a bad cell in the battery, an I would suspect with out proper voltage I could see the phone shutting down.

Random powerdowns and reboots

Hardware version 2

I have seen at least 4 random reboots. Once on way home yesterday. I have a Jabra bluettoth speaker on my visor. It reported disconnected. Took the phone out of belt clip and it was rebooting. I do have the extended battery. I called Verizon technical support. It seems I am the first to call in about this issue?

I've been getting fairly frequent random reboots too, id say if I'm on a voice call for more than about 20 minutes that it's nearly certain that the phone will reboot. I have started to suspect that it has something to do with using data at the same time that a voice call is going on (auto update of twitter data, for example).

This happened to me as well before I rooted my TBolt. I noticed that when I was using Hoot Suite and/or data at the same time as I was on phone, my phone would reboot randomly or I would start getting force closes on hoot suite and one other HTC process that I can't remember.

Once rooted I haven't had one force close but I quit using hoote suite because it was really slow.

Just happened to me. Not rooted. But occurred after I changed my live wallpaper to "Nortern Lights" which I got off the market.

Not rooted.
Hardware Ver 2
Factory Batt

Ive had the phone for 5 days and had about 8 reboots so far. There random and inconsistent with what im doing.

I'm running a non-rooted stock OS and default launcher and stock battery, and I had the phone reboot on me a few times.
I think it happened last when I tried to launch an app. (I think it was the prepackaged Internet app.)

No reboots here. Sorry to hear of the issues all of you are having. I Turn my phone off and back on every two days along with using a app killer.(system panel) The INC i had before the TB did reboots all of the time by it self. Then i started doing as listed above and the reboots stopped happening by them selves.

Hold on, So had everyone been having a FULL reboot? like the phone restarts?
or are you having a shut off.
My phone has just been shutting itself off without any notice.

I think the problem is with the application use and clearing out of the cache and reseting the RAM. But thats my opinion.

Let me know what you think

Mine has been doing the full reboot thing, like a kernel panic and restart

I get a white HTC screen, then a reboot. Happens when I'm trying to open something.
Suspect that it might be due to too many apps running at once, a memory leak, or maybe some sort of watchdog timer. Is there a system log to view in Android?

The Words With Friends app Force Closes constantly, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was causing other problems. I turned off the background syncing today in that app.

Ok I think I maybe narrowing it down, those of you who are "Rebooting" you are most likely restarting Sense and not rebooting. Those that are powering off completely, I suspect there is voltage error. What kind of battery life are you getting out of your phone? Personally I would RMA asap.
