TMobile LG G6 bogo offer

It doesn't state that, it states that it is sponsored solely by LG, which is on the picture I attached. It still states that you have to get them from a participating TMobile location. Anyone can read the page for themselves if they want to so there's no confusion.

Not gonna lie, I didnt read it lol.

And if that's the case one of my G6's will go back to T-mobile as I'm within the 14 period.

Thank you for the update Scott!

Unfortunately this doesn't help cause you will be out $50 for the restocking fee. TMobile charges it regardless if you have opened the phone or not.

i was disapointed turns out you have to buy them on credit to get the rebate :( also its just to small the screens way to small :(

Here is the qualifier from the Terms and Conditions:

THE OFFER. *Qualifying Devices. Only the following devices qualify for this Offer: New LG G6,
model numbers LGH872TN or LGH872BK. No other devices qualify for the Offer, including but
not limited to devices that are pre-owned, used or refurbished, certified open box, returned
devices, or warranty/insurance claims.
The Offer requires the purchase or lease on an equipment installment plan, in a single transaction, of
TWO (2) Qualifying Devices at an authorized, participating T-Mobile retail location during the Purchase
Period only. In return, upon proper redemption (see details in Paragraphs 4 and 5, below) you will
receive a five-hundred-dollar ($500.00) electronic Rebate check (the “e-Check”) on the second
Qualifying Device by email. An Offer request form (“Offer Claim Form”) must be completed online or
mailed in a separate envelope with all the requested documentation (as described more fully below) in
order to obtain an e-Check. Limit one (1) e-Check for the second Qualifying Device and
corresponding IMEI number and proof of purchase during the Redemption Period (as defined in
Paragraph 4, below). Limit five (5) e-Checks per household. For each e-Check request a
household makes, the required documentation and a separate, complete Offer Claim Form must be
submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Redemption requests in excess of the
foregoing limitations will not be honored or acknowledged.
If the purchase of more than two (2) Qualifying Devices are reflected on a single receipt, a copy of the
receipt must be included with each Offer Claim Form for each related purchase.

You can buy outright or lease...I did one of each just to be safe.

i used a Jump on demand and bought one outright. Waiting to get my approved email within the 14 days so i can take one back and still get the $500.

I think it's sad how TMobile has treated this bogo just because it didn't require you to add a line. I understand that a business that doesn't make money doesn't stay in business, but even if they change the LG bogo Tmobile will still only promote the s8. I'm only basing this off of what I've seen out of the three different Tmobile stores that I've been into lately.

I have read that TMO pressured LG to end this promotion for one of two possible reasons:

1. Since the promo is run through LG and not TMO, it doesn't require customers to be on the ONE or Simple Choice unlimited plan

2. It conflicts with the ongoing S8 promotion (which does require specific plans)

If either is true, it wouldn't be the first time TMO has tried to screw over a (partner) OEM.

I just redeemed the offer on the lgrebates website, please note that the terms and conditions specify that only black or titanium colors qualify and it says "No other devices qualify for the Offer" so no white LG G6 qualify for the offer

This is a tmobile offer only and the white G6 is not even sold in the United states so I don't see how that would remotely be an issue to anyone.

Well they are going to promote what sells the most -- typical business model. Just like when the new iPhone comes out all you will see is iPhone within carrier stores as if it is the only phone available.

I didn't know the white one was not sold in the US, I went to the store and they told me "we have all the colors" but did not specify what colors.

It is not a T-Mobile offer, it's an LG offer, they send you the eCheck but one of the requirements is to purchase at T-Mobile, other carriers didn't qualify

Just received my email from LG that my BOGO rebate was approved. Now I can return the second g6 for a refund and still get the rebate to cover the cost of the first one. Free G6.

I just got approved today as well I paid a total of $1125 including taxes and fees but if I'm able to sell the other G6 for $400 locally it'll still be one G6 for $225, sweet deal, that might still be the price of a pre-owned one 1-1.5 years from now. I could return the extra one as well for more profit but I think is a dishonest move plus someone out there would be happy to get one sealed for $400 instead of $563

Dishonest? This is a bone LG is throwing your way. Tmobile wanted to screw you and make you take out an extra line to get this deal which is why the deal was only available for 5 days. Don't feel bad at all for returning an unopened phone which they will turn around and sell to the next guy at full price.
