Ive been having success using a heavy duty case with belt clip (sans belt clip, cause it was torn clean off, so its now just a piece of plastic that will clamp across the screen). I only use the clip cover when the phone is in my pocket. I would like to find something like a protective sleeve so I can ditch the case alltogether and enjoy the phone naked when using it, but then protect it while in my pocket and not in use. (The case is also a PITA to remove when I want to use it in the gear vr)

I have a few microscopic scratches on my screen and I don't care, it's a phone.

Again, I wonder what evidence if any you have for that claim. If a scratch is visible, doesn't that mean it's distorting light? Distortion of light is precisely what makes an object visible.
