Hmmm not many getting the update today, not sure if the 100k a day is a real statistic or not but doesn't look like it.

..but very few have gotten the official OTA update ,,,that have posted on this forum , the ones that have it used the ruu or they are already rooted

Not something that should be taken seriously anyway. It's all hearsay, guesses, and people who don't know what they're talking about.
All we know for a fact is that it's rolling out (albeit slowly it seems). What we also know for a fact is that HTC/Verizon has thus avoided giving it to anyone who knows enough to grab the Update file and/or URL.
Preface: I know about as much about this techies stuff as I do about quantum phsyics

Nope, but good thought. That is just the source code for HTC's build of Froyo with Sense UI. Not a functional operating system ROM. Enterprising coders can (and will) make a ROM from it, but it is not the update we are currently waiting for.
Well, the OTA is being sent out...
Found out this morning that my Sister got the OTA for her Dinc this morning. Didn't even know she had one. She used to be a BB users. She liked my Dinc so much when she visited last month, she went out and got one. She is stock unrooted.
Also talked with someone I know in PA this morning, and he got the OTA update yesterday afternoon. He was rooted with S-OFF. Didn't know he had a Dinc either.
I've got two Dinc's here, one a pre-launch one and one that we got about 3 weeks ago.
Of course neither have seen the update yet.

vzwsupport says 2 weeks to a month to finish updates.
I call BS because every single tweet from VZWSupport says "no eta"

Third; if you get the update and don't know what to do... pm someone who's technical who is also on line, or email Jerry, Kyle, a moderator or someone else who can walk you through the capture.

Yea, that was a little mean of me to say, haha
...but i wouldnt be mad if someone posted that they tried to pull the update and couldnt get it...i just get mad when people come on here saying that they got the update, when they didnt even try to pull the update from their phone.
