How has not ONE person who has the intelligence to run the stupid log gotten the damn update over the past 4 days? It makes ZERO sense to me

YES, at 12:30 am just 30 minutes ago.
Right in the middle of reading who has gotten it here.
It is a pop up right over whatever your doing, so carry your charger so you will be ready.
( I had to go to the car for mine )
The whole thing took just under 30 min and everything is there with a few enhancements
Everything, people, photos, apps, just like is was but with sweetness. Please accept my condolences, it is coming.

About to go to sleep when I noticed that the 3G data indicator was persistent. Few minutes later (at 2:15am), update screen came up.

OK - Can people please take a second to read the thread about how to get the OTA link for us unlucky bastards who havent gotten it yet? It should only take a minute or 2!!!

your not understanding my point...if most everyone on here is talking about getting the update.zip and someone comes on saying that they got the update without even trying, thats what makes me angry...if they said they tried but werent successful, thats a different story ..and if i got the update and forgot to do anything, i wouldnt post up on here that i got it, because i know theres more than just me that feels the same way i do. and yea, you can bad mouth me, idgaf..its the internet..like i said on facebook yesterday...the internet is a magical place where you can argue, cuss, and try to act tough without ever meeting people...and people should be so gosh darn sensitive about it either...and the reason it matters if i get the update sooner than later is because i have had this phone since before it came out and have been patient enough so far. and yea, i shouldnt really be mad at him, because its not his fault that i havent got the update, its Verizon-__-...but he could do a favor and try or not say anything about it at all if he didnt.
...and btw, i know very much what is important in life...but its night time, so nothing is important right now...during the day though, i dont pay constant attention to see if i got the notifaction

i've got the OTA notice. i didn't update yet as i was gonna use this method; however, there is NO update.zip file ANYWHERE.
any thoughts before i get too impatient and update without trying harder? lol cuz i'm getting close.

did that; alogcat doesn't work for that method; the logs start ONCE YOU OPEN up t he app, and the file is already downloaded....so there's no link anywehre (check out the other 2.2 thread for ongoing discussion about it)

Just look for large files(may not be named update.zip) on both your SD card and your phone memory...it should be on the root of your SD card...also check the android folders on both the sd card and your phone memory

There I loaded logcat and searched for OTA and it seems my phone is getting it right now. I looks like it is downloading first cause I have not gotten the notice. But I downloaded it on my computer and it is a 93 mb zip file that looks like a rom inside.
