Today is the 18th. WHERE'S MY FROYO!!!

My daughter and I live in the same house; purchased Incredibles at same time (pre-order)----she received her update at 6 am this morning and I'm still waiting at 5pm in northern California!

After a few more days I will start merging these threads together once it slows down a bit. If there are 2 threads with the same or similar titles then I'll merge or lock 1 of them now. Believe me I feel your pain.

How's your coffee consumption doing?

Merge and Close... Merge and Close.

;)

I'll start for the day. Nobody probably cares anymore, I'm one of the few that waited and got Froyo'd at 0455 this morning. 9 minutes to load and done. Hope everybody who hasn't got it up to this point, does today.

Does this really work?

Someone over at AndroidForums posted this little tibit. I am not 100% sure, however it did seem to work for me. Those still waiting for the OTA...

Go into settings ->Date&Time -> Uncheck Automatic -> Select "Set date" and put your date out a few weeks ahead(i used 19th Sept).

Go back to main menu and wait, it will at soem point go back to the correct date.

I went into Settings -> About ->System Update and Bam!!!! It was downloading it. And yes before i did this I check beforehand to see if I had the update, which I did not.

There has a been a couple people this sems to have worked for. I make no claims that this works 100%, however it certainly triggered mine to get the update..

Enjoy Froyo if it works for you!!!

Re: Has anyone received the rumored 8/27 OTA Froyo update?

Not sure why if you have not gotten it yet why you don't just download the update.zip and do the same thing manually. It is the same OTA file that is sent to your phone.

I don't know how they could tell, but VZWSupport has stated that installing a leaked ROM voids your warranty. Again, I don't know that they can tell, and I don't know if the update.zip on this forum that is the official download is considered a leaked ROM. Just putting this info out there.

I did all this and BAM nothing

I can't tell if this, or the pinned thread, is really the main discussion place for Froyou, so I will post this in both places...

LockPicker doesn't work on 2.2, as previously noted. And frankly, I could care less about the 2.2 features anyway, so... anyone know how I can revert to 2.1?
