My buddy is still waiting for it to come to his phone.
Does the update somewhat help battery life
Sorry I didn't pull the update file before I ran it. I didn't know, now it's gone. I will pull it off my wife's if hers comes in before anyone else posts it though.
Silly Verizon. They could just leave the file on there for us to upload and save them the trouble of having to update all these by themselves OTA.....
Hopefully someone read this before they updated and can pull the zip file.
Yeah I don't see how the file isn't out there yet...?
Hello everyone, I'm a new member here. I was pleasintly surprised tro see that no one ad used Hal2000 as a user name yet.
Anyway, this may seem like a silly question. When I'm home I turn of 3G and use only WiFi, will OTA updates get pushed if you are not on 3G? I hope so, it will be a more stable download if its on WiFi.
no just a pointless post that adds no substance to the conversation.
Hello, Long time listener, first time caller. I've read a lot of good info here, thanks.
Does anyone know if the "improved battery life" might refer to a fix of that strange bump charge thing?

so i don't understand why everyone is waiting for "someone" to post the update.zip file......there is a post on droid-life as well as a thread on xda that will get you the update and root.
It has been confirmed that the leaked RUU is official, and it's been stripped down and put out there already (2 days ago). If you are really worried about having to wipe you phone just get titanium backup and you'll be all set.

^the updated part of the thread was stating that the ota is coming, but this method does work if you can't wait
