Touch screen only works when 2 fingers are on it at the same time- note 8

[Android Central Question]

For the love of God someone please help me. I have a note 8 that had a cracked screen. The notification bar wouldn't slide down so I sent it to an Ebay screen repair place. They said they fixed it and when I got it back the only way the screen works is if I have my hand resting on the edge, or my finger on the edge. If I have it in the otterbox or laying on a table it will not work. The touch screen requires to fingers to be touching it to work. I have done a hard reset already and nothing. Any ideas?

You may have to contact the repair service and ask them to fix the problem.

You do one thing .
1. Press switch off button
2. Power off,restart,and emergency call. Like this message will appear for you to select and press. But if you select ,it would not work. So, what you do ,just tap on that menu atleast 20 times.
3. Press power of switch on the phone for long time.

Phone will be switched off.

Now switch on and see your note 8.
Check your problem still exist.

I had the same problem when I replaced the touchscreen on my Note 8.
The solution is to Update the TSP Firmware.

To do that, dial *#2663# on your dialpad and then click "TSP FW Update".

After update the problem will be fixed.
