Tracfone service for a cheap Samsung Galaxy Ace. Turning itself on and off randomly.

I have tried putting it in "safe mode" but I get no calls. When it is not in safe mode, all my voice mails suddenly appear. I turn the WiFi off, but the phone turns it back on, apparently randomly. I can never be sure my phone is on and I depend on it for business calls. I think it might be possessed!! I have read on other forums how to solve, but I can't find the "advanced wifi" settings that they discuss. I need step by step instructions.
