My wife just told me she now DOES want to trade in her old phone. Today is last day to comply with the trade in postmark requirment.

The phone is rooted and has a custom rom. Can't return to stock because the XDA file server is down.

Anyone know if the phone qualifies for trade in on non-stock rom?

If you have an account with AT&T, they will take your old phone as trade-in for account credit. They are running a promotion now where they will round up the value to $100. I traded in three old phones already, and have two more to turn in. I did this with my previous phone when I bought my HTC One instead of taking advantage of the HTC Trade-up offer. It was easier to trade my old phone on the spot at the AT&T store, rather than send it in, get postal insurance, etc.

I thought today was the last day (extended from 4/30) to BUY the One - you have until June 19 to send in the trade in.
