Trade in terms , will you send in your charger ?

I did see that I believe that is dated Nov 2021.

I must not have been clear in the original post. Sorry

But as I said lets wait and see when Samsung says when they send the trade in instructions after we get our new phones.

If they say send the charger then its no big deal I have tons

I believe they are making a blanket statement written to cover many trade in items and should be expressed a little more clearly. They also mention charging case and I don't know of any smart phones that include one.
 
I did a trade-in last year and the email Samsung sent said nothing about a charger trade-in

This is taken from Samsung.com FAQ on trade ins:

• When I ship back to Samsung the device I’m trading in, should I send the charger, case, or other accessories with the device?

No – you should ship only the device, including S-Pen for Galaxy phones, to Samsung, and if you no longer need them, discard the other accessories following your local trash and recycling regulations. Trade-in value is available only for the device. If you do ship accessories back with the device, we will not return those accessories.
 
Also, if you actually click on the terms and conditions for the trade in program, it says:

"You should ship only the Trade-In Device, including S-Pens for phones, to Samsung. Do not send accessories, keyboard covers, watch straps, chargers, memory or SIM cards. If you trade in a tablet or laptop, do not send the included S-Pen. Samsung will not return any accessories shipped with your Trade-In Device."

I was looking at the terms and agreements and this was number 3....
3. Remove Your Data and Unlock Your Trade-In Device. Does that mean my trade in must be unlocked? Or what does Unlock mean in this case?
 
So in other words I need to sign out of my Samsung and Google accounts and remove them so it needs to be added and signed back in? If so that's what I always do when I trade in my phones.

You can but if you do a factory data reset from the settings it wipes everything anyway. I've done it both ways and no difference as long as you see the start screen to set up the device.
