Trade in terms , will you send in your charger ?

This release is the first I noticed the return of the charger.

Samsung...one of the originators of the term "nickel and dime you to death" lol. Or death by a thousand cuts

When I traded my Note 9 to get the Note 10 I did not send in my charger (assuming the requirements have been the same that long) and nothing happened. I'm not sending my Note 10 Charger.

I also have the Note 10 (Plus). But I don't remember what charger it came with. Was it a slow standard charger or a fast one? Might you remember?

Nope, just sending in the S21 Ultra and don't expect any issues. Been doing that for years and could care less if they added some footnote. Lol just imagine the PR backlash they would get if they start rejecting trade INS because you didn't send a charger for a phone that didn't originally ship with the charger. Samsung will be absolutely foolish to reject trade ins for that reason and I guarantee it'll result in a "trade in gate" if they do that

So as not to take any chances on them rejecting my N20U as a trade, I'll send them a charger. I've got about 3 that I've never taken the plastic off.

Even though their not giving us chargers for new S22 ultra.

Why would there be any issues the S21 Ultra, it never shipped with the charger.

I just bought a second note 20 ultra in Oct 2021traded in s20 plus did not send charger. Had no issues.

You don't need to. It was for phones that came with a charger as it says in my post.

Well, the s10+ came with a charger. I would think the regular s10 would be the same.

What if you purchased a unlocked phone used off ebay or somewhere online and it didn't come with a charger? What if you were gifted the phone. Very odd fine print.

I agree with @Laura Knotek. I'll wait till I receive the official instructions.

I think that they are concerned more with specialty chargers, like the ones that come with watches or other brands of phones besides Samsung.

It could be the facility that is taking the devices off Samsungs hands requesting the chargers be included.

I guess we will see...
