I've had them tell to refuse mine as well once and I till no pictures and Samsung approved it also.

Yeah, there wasn't 1 scratch or blemish on that phone. That phone was as perfect as the day I got it. And then for my inconvenience, they sent my a link for galaxy buds 2 for 149.99. I can get them cheaper with my military and student discount. Plus, I have the buds pro so I don't need them.

I am so glad that I take photos and video of everything before I trade in. I took photos and video of my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra while I was placing it in the box for shipping. I woke up to an email saying I had cracks in my camera lens. I said "I don't f'n think so. I immediately started an online chat with them and sent them pictures of what I had and demanded that they send me photos of what they had. Moments later they said I will receive full trade in credit and I will not be charged. I have attached photos of what I sent in. I don't know what the hell they were talking about. Make sure you all take photos and video to cover your end.

They changed their tune quick after you provided proof. Smh.

They do a lot even without proof. I agree having proof is better though. I'll have proof in the future. I might even enclose a copy of the pictures in the trade in box to let them see I have pictures.

I got email this morning from Samsung, saying my trade in was accepted. Well yeah!
it didn't have a scratch on phone it, front or back. It still had screen protector on it from when I got the phone.

Sent mine in last Thursday. Samsung received it yesterday.got the email today that it passed inspection and was approved! All is good and that was fast!

So after scrolling through the comments, I went ahead and chatted with them again about the price match for trade in that increased $250. They honored it and will be refunding me the adjusted trade in amount. Big thanks to you guys for all the feedback and support.

My only worry is if trade-in gets evaluated after the return period is over which is tomorrow for people who received it on Feb 23rd. They can say, it's outside of the return period and they won't price match. That's why I wanted to chat with them before the return period ended and get in writing they will price match once trade-in is evaluated. Let's see if they honor it after my trade-in gets evaluated eventually.

Don't know. I let it go, it wasn't worth my time to deal with Samsung crappy customer service. It was for someone's phone on my account, I told them I tried, they can call if they want to pursue it.

My trade-in is delayed in shipment. Dropped it off last Friday evening but it didn't get scanned in by FedEx until yesterday at 4pm. Originally was supposed to arrive by 3/9 but now is delayed until 3/14! Seems like a lengthy delay. Maybe it's that storm rolling up from the south. I double checked the trade-in instructions and it clearly states ship by 3/10 so I should be ok. I'm hoping Samsung doesn't try and pull a fast one say I missed the due date.

Finally after 13 days, FedEx delivered my trade in. Seattle to Texas in 13 days

Now hopefully Samsung approves within a couple of days.

Yes, hopefully, but 13 days? Good grief! My phone was accepted the day after receipt. My Tab was received 4 days ago and not a peep since. No rhyme or reason. It says results in 3 to 7 days so, no worries yet I guess.

Just call Samsung Sales and explain that the trade-in value increased after pre-order and that you'd like a price match.

Same here for my phone. Received last Friday, and not a peep yet. Website still saying pending receipt, but got email that it was received. They probably gonna try something deceitful to reject it, a mint Note 10.

I shouldn't have been so excited to be told last night that I was getting $250 back. I got this today:

The trade in value increased but the $250 Samsung pre order credit is no longer available on the website. The trade in value in the order is lower because you were able to avail the other offers.

My trade in was accepted last Friday, today I received a email saying only my note 9 was in the box. Someone stole my s21 ultra from when it shipped out to when it got to the trade in facility. After a hour long chat and two disconnections, they approved my trade in. Now should I try getting the $250 extra? I've never had troubles with trading in and after reading these this year I was nervous and it ended up happening to me
