Training voice to text Samsung S8 or any smartphone

How does a smartphone "learn" in terms of voice to text or even swiping accuracy? Is there a way to manually teach the phone? Our daughter's name is Elissa but when using voice to text to email or text and we say her name, it always comes out "Alyssa". Same with certain street names, etc. How can I improve the accuracy of voice to text? Thank you!

I've never tried it, but on "AI-type" speech to text apps, if you say her name, then change the spelling of the word manually, the app will pick it up. Try it. If not, you'll have to use something like Dragon Naturally Speaking on a PC. Or try all the free Speech to Text apps in the Play store until you find one that learns from your changes.
