Trouble reconnecting to network

[Android Central Question]

Hi all, I have a Pixel 2 that i bought from Google and activated with Verizon. I just got an update a couple days ago (something about screen issues). Since then, if I am connected to any wifi for a number of hours and then leave that area, my phone will not reconnect to the 4g network. Sometimes it will connect atleast to a cellular connection, sometimes neither the cellular connection or data connection. Any one else having this problem? I tried resolving it by going to airplane mode and back or switching off data and coming back but it only resolves if I restart the phone altogether. I am wondering if anyone else is having this before I call Google. Thanks!

We've seen this here before (or, at least, I have). It seems to be a bug in the latest Pixel 2 update. Google probably knows about it (although they won't admit that to you) and they're probably already working on a fix for a future update.
