Only 2 places I have had issues is at BB & Lowe's. At Lowe's, I couldn't get it to work at all. At BB, I couldn't get the MST to work, but once I used the NFC terminal it worked fine. I use it as much as possible, & have had no problems anywhere else.

they might also be missing a prompt to enter the last 4 digits of the virtual card (I didn't have to do that before, and now I've been asked for that a couple times this week).
Yup, MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) is the wireless technology used by Samsung to emulate the magnetic strip. To the best of my knowledge, Samsung Pay should also work with NFC and automatically turns the antenna on and off as needed.
Im wondering if thats an issue with new CHIP cards.
I tried to use NFC to pay for something at BB and the lady told me i had to use my card and insert it for a CHIP payment and not a swipe payment.
They may have a security feature to prevent fraud if a charge is over XX amount of dollars. Thats another thought.
For me it appeared to work more so with the NFC payment rather than the MST payment. Just a matter of what side of the payment terminal you have to use.
