Two weeks today

I listen to talk radio or music on the phone while working all day. I find the battery drains faster on my Note than it did on my iPhone.
Yes but how much difference and since you are at work isn't it simple enough to charge the device as needed?

Okay, so the moral of the story may be that if you want a ho-hum device with better mileage get the iPhone/Toyota Prius. If you want a more involving device with more features but less mileage get the Note 20/Lexus GS350F. Different people will have different priorities. I tried the iPhone/Primus, it wasn't for me per se but I know a lot of folks love it.
This is what many fail to understand. It's not always about gas mileage or battery life. Sometimes it's about the finer things in life.

I worry about battery health if I'm charging a phone often. I'd like to keep this phone for awhile.

I don't think it's that significant, but that's a decision that each individual has to make. My wife and daughter both have the 11 Pro Max and it's constantly on charge because of heavy usage.

Some people don't have a work phone and personal phone. I would say battery life is really important. That is why every new phone thread has a battery life thread. I actually hate that Apple has great battery life. I wish Samsung would focus more on that and the camera processing. Google seems to have lost their way. We'll see soon if that changes.

Both optimized and adaptive power saving. I get about 5 hours of SOT. On my iPhone 11 Pro Max, I get about 10 hours on SOT w incredible stand-by time. It doesn’t drain nearly as fast as my N20U.

Does the eyephone have wireless charging?

Always fun watching fanboy banter.

Some great and interesting views and opinions in this thread.

Personally my benchmark is that a phone gives me a days usage which is a mix of idle and usage.

I turn my phones off overnight and re charge no matter what battery percentage is left.

I'm working 8 hours in a day so I'm not really a power user and check any texts and emails when I get a notification and use Social Media and YouTube in my lunch hour.

I use spotify when commuting to and from work.

I don't game.

I'm also not into turning off features etc to get a bit more usage but I do put some apps to sleep , disable Google services and Google chrome

I'd rather top up when needed.

I'm in the UK and importing a SnapDragon version of the N20 Ultra because I feel thats the better version of the phone.

One good tip I was given some years ago was to turn Off the Battery % sign in the phones status bar and just enjoy what the phone brings. ;)

Most of the views are positive on here which is much better then most device launches. By now there would be a problem everyone has and waiting on a fix but not this year congrats Samsung

So, on this battery life thing.... I have a Fitbit Versa 2 that gets better battery life than my GW3. Does that make Versa 2 the better watch? Only if you value battery life above all else. I do not. The GW3 is far superior, to me. It looks better and has more functionality. But a less expensive watch (the Fitbit Versa 2) has better battery life. ...and I imagine a more economical Timex has better battery life still. ...but I'll take the GW3.

Its no different with the iPhone 11 Pro Max vs the Note 10+ or, I imagine, the iPhone 12 Pro Max vs the Note 20 Ultra.

The horse is dead. I beat it more still...and then kicked it a little too because...its Friday.

Cheers!!!

To each his own. Battery life is irrelevant to me.

You should see a day battery life in your device , since the s9 series all my samsung had great battery life .

Yes I realize dropping from 3024px to 3000px is insignificant but then why did the file size grow? Can anyone out there with a 20U and 10+ take 12MP photos of the same object to compare them and perhaps post them here? Just trying to figure out why the 20U I got was sooo bad when it came to photography (and other issue such as very slow response when using the S-Pen as a camera shutter/trigger as well as constantly changing what the S-Pen did!)

Looks like I'm not the only one with issues with the 20U camera - https://www.inputmag.com/reviews/he...alaxy-note-20-ultras-108-megapixel-camera/amp

Hmmm

After the update on the Note 20 Ultra.

My phone has been taking pictures that are like 20x20 and I can't post them on sites that allow you to store your photos.

And then I turn my bluetooth to my car off to use my phone in my hand.
When I try to link it back to bluetooth on the car, It wouldn't bluetooth back to the car.

Does anybody know what might of been in the update to change things on my Phone.

Oh yea !

In the setting on my phone.
It turned bluetooth off and turned my wifi connection off.
So this caused some of my problems.

I now have the note 20 linked back to my car. After a long time trying to figure it out.
Not sure exactly what I did or didn't do.

Anybody got a idea what is happening.

I hear ya as far as daily battery life goes. What's becoming more important, as more people are keeping their devices longer, is battery longevity. The more the battery needs to be fully charged, or topped off, the shorter it's life. I guess it's something to think about as devices become bigger battery hogs.

Got a S7E that I sold a buddy cheap. He uses it all day everyday playing on Facebook. He has a power pack to charge his phone while hes away from the house.

Gave my 74 yr old sister in law a S8+ phone that i used. She was still using a Iphone 5.
Set it up for her, and bluetoothed it her 2019 Sonata SEl.
She uses it everyday cause she has no internet.

So the battery life that is cut off the phones that is being talked about when a phone gets older
I just don't under the talk from what you are saying.

You totally confuse me.

Should't the phones be dead by not.

They work fine.
