Uk Nexus 4 ordered on 4th December

I ordered my Nexus 4 on Dec 4th and got a 4-5 week shipping period. However that time has now ended as it was meant to ship by Jan 5th and Google hasn't replied to any of my e-mail sent after this date. Did this happen to anyone else and do you know how to resolve it?

I ordered mine on the 4th (5:40), i got the email on Xmas eve saying it'd been shipped. It arrived on the 27th - though i returned it as i had already bought one from ebay (at a none too inflated price!). Im just hoping they return my cash to my account quicker than they ship phones!!!

Hope yours arrives soon. Im very impressed with mine so far

I ordered on the 7th December, but I've yet to hear a peep from Google (besides the initial order confirmation email).

I'm not really expecting to hear anything for a couple of weeks (I have a 6-7 week shipping estimate), but I find myself constantly checking the order status, lol.

Same here I was supposed to receive mine by Jan 7th (Monday) which means it should have been shipped by 5th Jan. I called google they just said to wait.
please can anyone help what do we do it been 5 weeks.

Mine was supposed to be shipped by Sat 5th Jan, so I had to e-mail them 4 times until I received a simple reply which had no useful information whatsoever.

I wish they had a physical store or something so we could actually pay them a visit, here's the other thing they number they provide for contact (in the Google wallet) is fax number for Google Ireland they don't even have a phone line for Google Ireland, I checked) and the only other number that we use is the free 0800 (if you go to customer support section then devices) number which is based in america which is not very useful for us in the UK.
They only tell you what you already know they cant give any information that is useful i.e. exact shipping date or at least when the next batch is supposed to dispatched to them from LG

Today they finally sent me an e-mail which actually makes sense, even though it doesn't really help much. Hopefully it will get shipped this week .

I absolutely agree with you, with a physical store things would happen so much quicker, easier and cheaper (no delivery charge). I also hate that they are wasting so many phones by sending them to 0[SUB]2[/SUB], 3 and Carphone Warehouse, when they sell so few especially compared to google play. One of those N4's collecting dust in 0[SUB]2[/SUB] could have been mine !

Exactly they are giving away stock they need that is not even selling in other stores.
Google is being ridiculous with how they are managing the stock of the nexus 4.
This is my first time ordering something from the Google play store and when some like me has such a terrible experience like this its really of putting to order from such place again even if they have a great deal, they pretty much lost a customer, as I am sure man others would follow the same suit.

I think some people who received there order really early yet placed a later order than us got our orders but quite in advance, just show how terrible of a logistics company Google is working with or they them selves are completely incompetent

What make this worse is I have a few friends who received there devices on the 28th of December yet placed there order a few hours after me =(

I dont have any date at all all my Google Wallet says is Order Date: December 5, 2012 6:16:22 AM UTC-8 it does not include a shipped by date at all.The email confirmation also says Order date: Dec 5, 2012 2:16:22 PM GMT but shows Shipping Status Estimated Ship 5-6 weeks

No I have not received it and I have heard nothing at all. My order date was changed to 2/1 about a week ago.

I have never been give a date just the 5-6 weeks and when I asked Google for date they just said I would get it on or before that time they quoted.

This whole thing is a complete shambles really and Google should be ashamed of the way they are handling these orders.

TNT lost my first pack and Google said they cannot send me any replacement.
Now I am waiting for my second order which is due now.

Latest i was given in an email from google was that google consider that 5 weeks is up on the 16th jan from the 4th of dec.
They were not specific but it implies 5 days hols over the chrimbo n new year period.
I however calc it from tues 4th dec means tues 15th jan, with the 16th the day after, maybe thats what they ment.

so guys add an extra week on which is fair enough for christmas just wish that had been communicated to us and a new date given etc, would have been nice.

however that extra week is now up

Isnt that last day of the 7th week? Again - I do not think it is a specific day
