Unable to install ROMs

Hey everybody.

I'm having trouble finishing up with this rooting process. I've installed my recovery tool, wiped everything clean and am now trying to install the Cyanogen ROM. Here's what's showing on my screen:

Install from sdcard...
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
E:Can't open /sdcard/update-cm-5.zip
(bad)

Installation aborted.

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

did you do an MD5 checksum on the zip file to make sure it wasn't bad? that's your first step... always ALWAYS check that first and foremost...
