Unable to remove Swype to install beta version

I tried removing Swype (2.8.50.12867) using Titanium Backup, in an effort to install Swype beta version, but it's not being removed from my Optimus V. Perhaps I'm doing it incorrectly? I opened Titanium Backup, selected the Backup/Restore tab, highlighted Swype, then selected "Force remove app". The phone reboots, but Swype is still intact and the beta version won't install. Can someone please advise me?

Ok download link2sd from the market and then after its downloaded open it and scroll down to swype longpress then uninstall. Just like that.
