I'm running a Vodacom (South Africa) S9+ (SM-G965F) with android version 8.0.0 build R16NW.G965FXXU1BRE7.
When I go into the wireless selection screen, whether by holding the wireless icon in the quick menu or opening Settings>Connections>Wi-Fi, I often cannot connect to any of the 'Available Networks' listed there. I tap on them and nothing happens at all. If I long press on them their options come up but then I try to tap again but still nothing.
If I disable auto-reconnect on my current network then it will automatically connect to another saved network but will still not allow connection to any other networks.
This problem is intermittent but is present more often than not.
Just an extra note, I have tried restarting the phone when this occurs with no success.
