Found what I think is a similar "solution." And by solution in quotes, I mean it mainly fixed the problem.
Once the phone is paired to the car, you can go in Bluetooth and see two options. The first allows features of the phone (like calls) be to connected via bluetooth to the car, and the other is for audio media. When I turned off the option to connect phone-related aspects of my cell to the car, the problem with bluetooth disconnecting stopped. However, I want to be able to accept calls via Bluetooth, so I turned this option back on and...
I un-paired, then re-paired my phone with with the car. However, this time, when the permissions pop-ups came up on my phone, I denied access to contacts. Now my phone rarely disconnects and reconnects repeatedly. I believe this is because the phone/car are trying to sync, or update, my contact list every time I connect. And I have a huge contact list as well, which can't help (and most contacts have facebook or email info, some just have that info and no phone number). Now my calls only show the phone number, but that is okay. Since then, the only time I've had problems connecting/disconnecting/re-connecting is when I've used GPS and Music at the same time - like when my phone and car are trying to sync contacts and play music at the same time, I think maybe the bluetooth connection gets overloaded or something, switching back and forth between applications? Anyway, the issue stopped after a few disconnect/re-connects. I had to restart my phone the next time I used it in the car. But generally, the problem has stopped.
