Unlimited Data is back

The killer is the lack of corporate discounts. I get lots of discounts on my old udp. No discounts (I've read here?) on new udp. I still don't know the dif though. Tried to call to have vzw figure it out for me but busy busy busy.

No discounts on the new unlimited plan except for Military ones.

When I switch, I'll be giving up a 22% employee discount.

I'll still save money though.

I will pay around the same I do for T-Mobile due to having 4 lines. I do work for the Military so I can apply that discount which is nice.

And that is what everyone who is thinking about switching really needs to look at. Do the math for yourself and see what is best for your situation. Asking others what you should do really isn't the best idea, asking for information help you decide is perfectly fine, but you shouldn't ask others to decide for you.

My current plan:

Nationwide Talk and Text 700 with 2 smartphone lines.

Account Access: 50.00
Line Access Fees: 19.98 (9.99 x 2)
Data: 129.99 (Line 1 UDP $49,99, Line 2 10GB $80.00)
Messages: 30.00 (unlimited on all lines)

Estimated bill before taxes and fees: 229.97

With my 22% discount -

Account Access: 50.00 39.00
Line Access Fees: 19.98 (9.99 x 2)
Data: 129.99 101.39 (Line 1 UDP $49.99 38.99, Line 2 10GB $80.00 62.40)
Messages: 30.00 23.40 (unlimited on all lines)

Estimated bill before taxes and fees: 229.97 183.77

On the new plan:

Account Access: 110.00
Line Access Fees: 60.00 (Line 1 20, Line 2 40, reduces to 20 in mid-March)

Estimated bill before taxes and fees: 170.00 (150.00 in mid-March)

I'll gain unlimited calling and unlimited data access for Line 2. The tradeoff will be a 22GB threshold per line where we may be throttled.

Thanks for the breakdown.
2 questions on T-Mobile:
1) is the prioritization per line or split among the 4 lines (assuming i have 4)
2) same question for tethering. Is it per line or 10GB split among 4 lines?

Per line on both questions

So new plan including all fees for two lines one on contract one off no autopay is $170?

I pay 156 now after discounts with udp on one line and 2gb on the other which is on subsidized phone contract
