Dec security update for Note 9 on Oreo is out. I can update it because I rolled back to Oreo and it will want to update to Beta if I check for updates.

Should I unregister for the Beta program or stay on it? Also the Beta did they fix the Gear problem with the watch?

You should only join betas if you can deal with things being broken. That goes for any beta really.

Never noticed email being displayed in device maintenance in oreo before. But in One Ui its prevalent, even turned sync off to manual only. Anyone else notice the background usage?

For those who have live focus working, did you have to reset? Mine stays blurry, you can't adjust focus and the camera is stuck making a humming noise

No just went to that mode and worked off the bat..

Looks like I'm going to have to see if reset will fix it. I tried clearing cache, restarting phone and it doesn't work. It sounds like the tiny camera motor is stuck but when I get out of live focus it stops. Go back into live focus and it starts up again.

Thank you mustang it worked. After I force stop, I cleared caches again and restarted. Now it works. Hope it stays this way. Thanks again!

Yes, I can barely hear my notifications. Surprised that hasn't been fixed. I'm on a beta now that was released on the 20th and it's still really low.

Interesting, I'm not having that issue on the 2nd beta .only thing is when I swipe left to Bixby it freezes sometimes.

well it isnt text messages or phone calls. it's pretty much just 3rd party apps
