What do you think? My buddy ZiggSevo turned me onto this ROM and I must say its been impressive. Overnight battery drain is next to nothing, look at the battery graph overnight and its a nice smooth graph like it should be... No hidden processes or anything causing battery drain.

Snappy, smooth and has the main goodies in place and placeholders for more future options as they become available.

Also it seems like they did something to tweak the volume levels because all my notifications/ringers, etc seem a lot louder and not distorted or crackling at these higher levels... Might just be me on this but it does seem I can actually hear an incoming notification for a change... :)

Downloading now.

How long have you been running this?

How is the speed and battery related to the kernel in your case? Matr1x?

I've been running it close to 24 hrs.. Its nice...

Speed is nice, battery from what I was told by Zigg my partner was about 1% sitting idle over night.

It really seems like this is one of the first ROMs not to suffer from the Android OS overload bug that so many seem to have....

I can also confirm others have said the notification/volume levels are louder making this a plus since that is something that has always plagued the NS4G with its quiet volume levels.

Oh before I forget, yes I am running my kernel of choice. Matr1x v17.0 :)

One could lose a significant part of his life trying out all these ROMs and kernels...back into the fray.

So far, so good.

I'll have to weigh in on the volume of the ringers as I go through the day. I'm missing my custom icons :(

I've heard good things about this....but I've been stuck in the euroskank Kangs + trinity setup.

Worth giving it a test drive Brian... Backup your latest/greatest Euroskank Kangs and give this baby a go for a few days...

this rom is definitely a winner

I agree. I am loving this ROM right now. Have Matr1x 17 running as well. The lag is significantly improved. Not sure why I had to download maps and google music, but whatever...All is running well.

LOL... I only try to pass the best on to you all... I've gotten very picky about which ROMs I run these days...

So have I... I hate most of the Optimus S ZVH ROM's..

The only ROM I like is IHO kraven's CM7 and CM9 Ice Cream Sandwich (see signature)

Paul - do you like it better than Bugless Beast? Better battery?

Yes I think I have to give this ROM a thumbs up on the battery. Pete's is good but I think this ROM still has it beat a little bit..

I'm still digging this ROM, but I am starting to notice a slight bit of lag (esp with lazy gov) that seems to improve with intellidemand. Also, my GPS failed today and I couldn't get it to lock until rebooting the phone. Anyone else face this problem? Is it a maps issue?

I do like this rom but i would prefer it more if it didn't have the dsp manager built in. I still think volume plus is better. Looks like I may have to dig it out of the zip and reflash it. Then it would be perfect.

Grab your Root Explorer or ES File Explorer...

/system/app/DSPManager.apk (DELETE)

All gone, bye bye... No need to re flash.
