Unofficial poll: What size phone do you prefer?

Motorola Atrix is perfect for me. I don't game or watch videos really so smaller to fit in my pocket easier is better.

I do wish these top-end specs would make their way to 4.3"-4.6" sized phones. Seems everyone's trying to inch a little bigger.

I went from the iPhone4 (3.5) which was perfect when I had it (because I didn't know any better)... to the Note (5.3) which is just a little too big, sometimes. It's so flat and wide that it makes one-hand use a real chore. Most of the time it's possible, but it's a finger-stretching balancing act to try to reach across the screen. That said, it's not "impossible to carry in a pocket", I wear slimmer-style jeans and have no issues keeping it in my pocket or getting it in and out of my pocket. The only issue is the few times when I really wish I could comfortably use it one-handed. The S3 is 4.8 and slightly curved so it definitely feels better, but I wonder if that's even just outside of consistent one-handed usability.

Coming from someone who use a 2.6'' phone I say that I would prefer a screen between 4'' and 4.65'' I like the size of the Xperia S and thing the GNexs' screen size is the maximum size I would consider a phone. Not a big fan of uberly big phones like the note.

I love the screen on my Note. I can't see myself going back to anything smaller now.

I think 4.8 to 5 is about the mac I could cope with . I can still usey phone one handed, and the display is just awesome.
I think it's funny how 5 years ago, everyone wanted tiny phones and now everyone wants the big one!

4.3 to 4.7....The HTC One X/Evo 4G are nice size phones.

I think that 4.3 - 4.5 would be the ideal screen size. Also minimize the bezel of the phone; that will give the appearance of being larger than it actually is. You could probably have a 5" screen on the Nexus by just reducing the bezel and not changing the form factor. Just my .02 :).

Just give me my holographic wrist phone
The galaxy nexus seems perfect to me 4.65 HD res winner in my book

4 - 4.3 inches. A phone like the HTC One S is the perfect size phone. Give it a bigger, removable battery, an SD card, stock android, and a 720p screen and that would be my phone.
A kickstand would be nice too :D (but it isnt necessary)

I didn't say no bezel, I said reduced bezel sizes.

Something like that is beautiful to me, allows for a larger screen in a smaller package, and does not look like it would affect holding it at all. Holding my Sensation right now (in right hand), the phone rests on my pinkie at the very bottom, my middle and ring fingers extend across the back and only mildly wrap around it, my palm near my thumb squeezes the opposite side very lightly, my index finger is free to either lightly squeeze, rest on the backside, or simply float, and my thumb waits to interact. None of my hand is actually wrapped around the front of the phone very much at all, which is why I think it is entirely possible to have an extremely thin bezel that is still entirely functional.

I'm with u on this.

I find my Galaxy Nexus just a tad too big. But I think at least part of that is the top and bottom bezel.

So my perfect phone would minimize bezels and reduce the screen size to 4.5".

Thanks for the input guys, but I honestly don't get the Galaxy Note preference. Don't your prefer a phone that you can slip into your pocket?

1. Have your ever tried a bigger phone? I used to use a tiny little Pre but once I hacked it so it could be a hotspot for my Touchpad... Forgettaboutit! I want something like the ASUS PadFone now. I say once you try a large useful device you'll never go back!

2. Why in the **** would you want to put a phone in your pocket? Get a case and clip it to a pocket, belt or where ever but never in a pocket.

My Samsung Galaxy S2 4.3" screen is the perfect size for me. It's just the right size for me to do everything I need to on it without the phone feeling big in my hands (I'm told I have large hands for a girl).
My husband's Samsung Galaxy Note 5.3" screen is just the right size for him. He has large hands- even for a man-so the phone doesn't feel as huge to him as it does to me! He's also got the extended battery/bigger back on it. I think it's massive!
