Unpacked/preorder

I remember preordering awhile back and then after release they had an even better deal. What's up with that!!?!?

I remember that happening with the S22U. I got a $150 refund after calling Samsung and complaining. I think I'm gonna wait.

Z Fold 3 user here, I just pre-ordered my S23-Ultra 512GB and am now camping here and waiting. :D

when do we all expect to have our phones in our hands? the site says Feb 17th is the ship date, but...any chance of us getting our phones around 3-5 days earlier?

thank you.

Honestly, I would be happy if it arrived anytime this month. :P

Got the reserve email and it says up to $500 trade. So it looks like I stay with the s22U.

Yeah me too I'll wait and see if they do a higher trade in later on. I'm upset I really wanted that Lavender. I'm on Samsung's site all I see is Verizon bill credits when I choose I want a Verizon phone. I don't see where to uncheck that and see Samsung's trade in value.

If you have a S7 or newer phone working or not working Verizon will give you $800. It's 36 monthly credits.
I have a note 9, I'm debating about going this route myself. I don't know yet though. I'll be able to keep the S22U going this route. That's 2 great back ups for the family. I hated the note 9 anyway, and getting $800 is a bonus.

Meh... "If" the camera is much better I'll probably just wait for a fall sale and buy it outright....kinda want to keep the S22U as a backup anyway.

Samsung trade in offer would give me $200 for my S21, which sucks. They had much better trade in offers in the past. Luckily, ATT will give me $800 for my trade in if I agree to a 3 yr contract.

Unfortunately I think you are right. And this year you have to use the $150 at the order of the phone, no keeping it for later.

Problem with that is you need to be on an expensive (best) plan. With a single line that ain't cheap. I don't use much data so I'm on TMO prepaid for 15 a month. To get the deal with TMO I would have to pay 85/mo just for the plan. I'll just wait for the Fold 5 and see what that brings.

Ahh ...I didn't realize that

Re: Unpacked/preorder - Samsung order error

Has anyone received this error during checkout? "Please ensure that you have completed the phone activation in your order." Tried a few different things and same error. Samsung customer service has no idea either.

Yes, I have been getting the same error on my phone and computer browser. I'm trying to upgrade a Verizon line. I don't know if that's the problem or what. Waiting on hold for support, since 3 chat support people couldn't do anything. Very annoying!

Yeah we always buy our phones out right we own our phones and I didn't really want to do anything with Verizon and Bill credits and 36 months. But I thought they usually give you a gift also besides the 50 credit like I thought we were getting the new buds with it but I guess not.
