Hey everyone. I bought a Moto X 2014 Developer Edition off a friend. Apparently the bootloader was unlocked and giving a warning when powering on the phone. I've never dealt with an unlocked boot loader before and was wondering how I go about relocking it? Or does it really matter that it is unlocked?
Thank you for any and all help

I think dev version is unlocked by default.

Boot loader is unlockable if I recall. However, if it has already been unlocked, you are out of luck. Warranty is void to my knowledge. I highly recommend looking into it further.

Actually it's called Pure Edition XT1095 not developer Edition. But answer your questions sense I can't post links search Motorola unlock bootloader when find Motorola bootloader site scroll to bottom of page. And xt1095 is not voice warranty from boot loader unlock

So I just got off a chat with Motorola and this is what they said.

That's the link I was trying to send you. But in the process off relocking you will use dev's most common tool so you will be learning developer stuff. Good luck
