update downloads, installs but stays 4.1?

So the 250mb update downloaded last night, painfully slow might I add. The phone goes through it's restart and install process but I still have 4.1.2

I've tried cycling the power but to no avail.

Am I missing something here? I do hate at&t
search function failed me so I'm sorry if there is another thread like this one .

Wrong update bud. That update you fid was an earlier update released in September for extra LTE radio support.

Alright, so I just changed my date to check for another update, 534'ish mb started. Started is the key word, it goes about 2-3 megs and stops. WiFi has no hiccups or anything, what would cause it to stop downloading?

Maybe in the morning I should just plug in to my laptop and go through the HTC sync manager?

Thoughts?

Claims from many people are the update has taken many quite a while, at times seeming like it stopped.

Don't be fooled by the progress bar, it may say 1% but it is in fact downloading.
