Having worked for UPS for 7 years I can tell you that they can release orders up to 1am tonight and still get them anywhere in the US on Friday. That is why so many big online retailers are located in Louisville, KY. The planes don't leave until 2-3am for there destination. UPS logistics most likely has all of them at one central location in the Louisville Hub and is just waiting the OK to label slap and get them out the door. My order says 2-day air, so if they release today we won't see them until Monday. Unless Google has decided to upgrade to overnight, in which case we would get them Friday. (if the release before 1am tonight)

I used to do contract work for UPS Logistics (in IT) and worked directly with the folks in the data center at the logistics hub in Louisville and Atlanta (HQ). Ive been to the Logistics facility in Louisville many, many times. The facility is on site AT the airport. I dont think Google has figured out how to have a python script slap that label on the shipping carton and get it to your door, so they let the professionals do it.

Don't believe anyone that says Adorama is actually already selling them. It's false. I just called them up and he immediately said, it's not available yet and we don't have a new release date set.

Yeah, if you add it to your cart on their website there's a note that says that the items are not at their warehouse just yet.

We have been seeing "pending" since last week instead of the many "completes" we have been hearing about. My husband typed in the wrong expiration date and the card declined, but once fixed the order was placed.

Called Google yesterday to make sure things were okay and he said "yes". I didn't ask about the release date, poor guys, I bet they are tired of being asked. Hoping to see complete soon. Google did email my hubby last night to say thank you for calling and they are working on getting the pending changed.

I wish I lived closer to the CSR building, I would love to bring them cookies for dealing with all the shenanigans as of late.
