Signed up for UPS Mychoice and haven't received anything other than a confirmation.
Also, no credit card charge yet.
I preordered on 6/27 at 3pm PST. 16GB version with a case.

Hey like everyone else I've been stalking this forum. Believe me or not, I went to my local gamestop and asked him if he had any info on the Nexus 7. He said "it was pushed back indefinitely. It was first scheduled to be released today, July 12 but was pushed back to Aug 2 and now its pushed back INDEFINITELY.
This is ONLY for gamestop.

Ok guys good news!!! I just got off the phone with a Google rep( I know we have heard crap from them all-day but just hear me out). The rep that I talked too said they are starting to ship the tablets. He stated that they are shipping the people who ordered before the 1st first(1st wave). But for the people who ordered after the first will only be a few days behind. I told him I ordered mine on the 2nd and he said I should have my tracking number early next week if not sooner, so I should start checking my email often. It looks like the people who ordered off Google are getting ours first since gamestop seems to be delayed again. Hope this helps guys.

Before the first wave....you mean the people who ordered when Google prematurely posted the Nexus 7 on the Google Play store or the people who ordered IN the first wave?
That is the same thing they told me early today ,but still can we trust them.
That GameStop was just looking in their system. Most GameStops already have them.
It's just a matter of the ok. I called my GameStop last night and was told they have them and I could pick it up today.....but after reading these posts today I called GameStop and was told they received a memo this morning.
So I Kane every vibe above me for all their bad news and now my Gs GaMeStop won't give me mine. Boo to you all:'(

This jives with another post somewhere else. While it is good news that they may be shipping, I still wish they were all shipping. The number of tablets can be the only delay I can think of. There is no way that UPS can only handle 10,000 packages at a time. Do you know what their air shipments are during Christmas? Ridiculous! Our UPS center here (which isn't all that big), does 6,000-8,000 packages a day. They're in the business of moving boxes. And they do it well!
Yeah I honestly don't know. At this point I really think Google themselves doesn't know much or else they would have said something. I'm thinking it's somewhere in the middle of the process, possibly UPS telling Google that they don't know when they will have time to ship all of them or how. Google probably doesn't want to say anything because they still want people to think they have control over all this.
When I worked at UPS I worked at the hub across from world hub in Louisville. We took all ground shipments from all over the us and our building would ship 200,000 packages in a 5 hour shift during Christmas and that is only one of two shifts they were running at that time. They are more than capable of handling whatever Google can through at them.

tried calling again, been following the post pretty closely but not sure if this has been stated. As of the last 2 times I have called there is an automated recording before the call that states n7 will ship soon, with basic shipping info... Nothing new.... And nothing new from the reps beyond they are currently shipping, and some people have gotten their labels already

Agreed. I did seasonal employment 3 separate years just for fun (my brother is a supervisor and I couldn't actually be hired and work under him, so it was extra cash part of the year), and say what you will about them, but they know how to move cardboard. Haha. It's pretty amazing actually.
I just hope I wake up and have a tracking number tomorrow morning. If some are shipping, I still doubt all of them will. But if they do, there is going to be a mass tracking number issue at some point tonight.
I'm also waiting for Steam to release a Linux client. Does the waiting ever end?!
At least things are getting a little bit more exciting. I am worried to see a virtual brawl of sorts, in the morning, if a majority of us did not get a tracking number/credit card charges.
If that is the case, I recommend picking up a keg on the way home from work folks, it might be a long weekend for us
