Well, with all the talk of ups my choice yesterday I obv signed up. Just got email notification of shipment. The email said scheduled for delivery tomorrow well.. Today - Friday.. But ups website says Monday. But I just now checked my credit card and the charge hasn't hit. We are almost there!

The email came from UPS? When you click on the tracking info, does it say estimated delivery on Monday?

I guess I was wrong about how My Choice worked. From the website information, I thought you needed the premium upgrade to get the shipping information before receiving it from Google.

Yea, the email was from ups. And also correct that when I track on the ups site it says Monday. No email yet from Google..

hmm my bank account took exactly $224 still processing, had an additional $1 charge but thats gone..I purchased on July 11th and on my account on google play store it says under the date July 13th?

I had the full amount come out shortly after pre-ordering (June 28th 7:15am Eastern) then it went away and this new $1 charge showed up on July 9th, keep waiting for it to change to $281!!!!

I've had My Choice since it came out in October. If you pay $40 you get a calendar of all incoming shipments. If you use the free version then you get an email one day before delivery. If it is getting delivered next day then you get the email when it goes out. If it takes multiple days to deliver then free users get an email at midnight the day before delivery. So if delivery is on Monday then you get a notice Sunday at 12am, not monday morning but Saturday night.

Well, woke up this morning and all I have is an email from OfficeDepot titled "Be the First! PreOrder your Nexus 7..." :-\ Thanks OD for rubbing it in.... (on it they did say shipping in 3-5 days, so take that as you will).

I am slightly surprised that I (we) haven't heard ANYTHING from the Play Store... I ordered mine late (6th), but I really expected some people to be posting tracking numbers this morning...

Yes, usually the UPS My Choice notices are not necessary because most places send you a tracking number before UPS does. Sometimes small shippers dont send tracking numbers if you order on the phone or in person so the UPS My Choice if helpful.

I believe Google's system is broken in that they are having issues with tracking numbers. I myself think that UPS-SCS (supply chain solutions) is sending orders out for google but Google isnt send out tracking information like they should.

The people who got My Choice notices are those who's shipment delivery time got miscalculated by UPS's computers; it happens all the time, they will get another email Sunday also. That is why the email and the UPS tracking say different dates. The email has the wrong, earlier date, and the website has the correct updated date.

Well, I got the notification email at like 4:45 this morning saying I would get it today. Tracking on ups.com says Monday. What do you think this means?

No "new news" but being as impatient as I am, I just called Google CS and was told that my order is in process and to expect it sometime early next week.
When I pressed for more specifics, she simply said that was the best she could give me right now and as soon as it shipped, I would receive an email with a tracking number.

Oh well guess I will continue playing with my Google Nexus with the freshly updated OTA of JellyBean

That means that the initial UPS estimate thought you would get the order today so it sent your email out. Then UPS realized that that wouldn't happen so they updated the website. You will get another My Choice email Sunday with Monday as the date.

Thanks. I saw your previous post explaining the miscalculated date after posting my question to you. I ordered the 16g on the 3rd around 1am EST.
