I have a 9 hour roundtrip bus ride this weekend and was annoyed that I won't have the N7 for it, but then it just occurred to me that I have an iPod, a smartphone, and a PS Vita. I need to realize when I'm fortunate.

This wait is bad, but the Verizon Galaxy Nexus launch was extraordinary rendition by comparison.

I am with verizon and I am just getting over how bad that was. First the wait then the signal issues and then the lte network issues. And then some more signal issues.

Now I'm angry. My buddy just text me to tell me he got his N7. He went and picked it up this morning. He preordered from game stop almost two weeks after me. I ordered from Google on June 27.

Been stalking the thread for awhile now.
It is actually confirmed. GS is selling them today. Called one at the mall and Brian said he had pre-ordered one but he can't pay for it at the moment. On the way to collect it now.
So I will just have two now once Google Play sends other one out.

So, I ordered directly from Google and will have to wait until next week (maybe) and pay a shipping charge plus tax. That sucks. I could've ordered through GS, paid no shipping and no tax in neighboring NH and have now. Nice job Google. It should be called Google Played, not Play.

Google ought to refund shipping costs to all the Play Store pre-orders, or upgrade us to overnight.
I'm not going to act like a 3-year-old but what is the point of online pre-ordering if you're going to release it in stores first?

I just picked up my N7 from my local GS. I do have it in my hands confirmed. BUT, I have to go back to work now. Wont be able to really play with it until this afternoon.

Hate to say it, but I stopped my order. I'll refuse it if it comes and I'm able to get one (from Game Stop or otherwise) before then.

Opps its early for me still I meant june 27 and june 28. I have pre ordered other things but I tend to do it from places I can pick them up from. But this makes me feel like the galaxy nexus phone with verizon. I think google just needs better communication with the people giving them money.

I am hoping they make up for the lack of communication with some extra free content not mentioned
"For a limited time, includes $25 of credit to spend in the Play store, as well as some great free content like your own copy of Transformers: Dark of the Moon. " Seems like they have left the opportunity there for them to give out some nice incentives if they want to.

I emailed their customer service with my order number, essentially inquiring whether Google plans to compensate the people who preordered through Play, based solely on the fact that I no longer see any advantage to preordering a device through Play again (it's more costly AND late). Maybe if enough people raise an issue, they will make amends.

Couldn't hurt.
