$50 less for Gamestop. Last night to preorder so call tonight from the number I posted and you'll be bumped up from 2nd wave to first wave. Also if Jeremy asks say you found out from a reliable source so I can still get a job there. Please don't anyone mess this up.

I have no idea what the ordering system is in place for them to send the orders to UPS. It could be by timezone, region- hell even last name.
I don't know if I believe them over at XDA.. I ordered on 6/27 right after the I/O keynote ended and I have no charge on my credit card and haven't heard a word.
This is all the info I could pry from the Play team. I asked for a little more clarification on shipment waves in my email but he dodged the issue entirely.

Meh, not worth it lol. I tried the lawyer card (not necessarily saying I'm a lawyer, but lawyering ninja style) and all I got was "it's very very very close to shipping."

Google also said, the UPS hubs are ready so it will be here soon. They won't squeal unless you file a major complaint, like I did, and show them who's boss.
I skipped a lot of the previous pages but I saw that people are ordering from GameStop and Staples...I went on the websites, first of all GameStop isnt taking any preorders for the Nexus 7 (in my area, im in FL) and second, Staples clearly doesnt have it in stock and says "This item is currently sold out please check back between 7/14 and 7/18 as additional units may become!" and its "delivery only"
