Using Mobile Hotspot on Verizon

I searched the forums but couldn't find the answer.

How do I get Verizon's Mobile Hotspot app on this phone?

It's not in the Google Play store? And do you really need an app, to take advantage of hotspot? There should be a control for it in your swipe down panel, it says hotspot. If it's not there click on the gear icon and then more.

Should be able to use the built-in capability from the notifications pull-down. I never needed an app on my Moto X, don't see there being a difference with this.

Now, I feel stupid. I didn't even realize it was just in the settings menu. Thanks.
